Can APA hold me accountable for past due fees of other players?

I have one more question guys...

I haev called the APA home office, and they sent me to the "Players Assistance Line" which has been busy all day... they asked me to leave a message with name, number all the vital info they might need. but I wanna try to remain anonymous for the time being... I dont want my LO to get wind of my contacting them and try to forge, or lose documentation.

anyone know of another number in the APA home office I can call? or a specific person I can get in touch with?

thanks guys.

S.G.B if you wish to be anonymous becareful. If you provide them with any information of who your LO is they will automatically forward any correspondence to him. Use a dummy email account that can not be traced...

F*** the APA. I would ask him if he would like to collect the money out back. If you pay that money you are simply an idiot. Do yourself a favor and just get out while you can before you have been transformed to an APA league rat.

Thast just the standard hotline number.
they arent helping at all.

I was looking for a specific number, or extension to an actual person.

Have you PM'd APA_Operator, or LeagueGuy here on AZB? They are APA LO's, and may very well be able to help you. I fully expect that they won't be interested in jumping into this thread, but I bet they would respond to a private message.

First, S.G.B. did contact me via PM. I replied. Unfortunately, the best I could do is tell him to contact the national office. That's always the thing to do if you feel you are not being treated fairly by your local league operator.

The folks in the national office will investigate. However, they DO need to know who you are and who the operator is, and they WILL contact the operator. Otherwise, what could you expect them to do for you?

If everything S.G.B. says is true, and I was his operator, I would certainly have accepted his offer. I may have even tried to find him a few players when it became clear that his flakes weren't gonna show up. Maybe I would have even put myself on the teams (and paid my $9 per match) just to keep them afloat. I've done that before. What I WOULDN'T do is punish the person who tried to keep it together while letting the flakes rejoin the league.

ON THE OTHER HAND, I don't know if everything S.G.B. says is true. I'm not saying it's not, only that the behavior of the operator doesn't make sense if everything went down like S.G.B. says. What would the operator have to gain by handling the situation that way?

Only S.G.B. and the operator know exactly what happened. They need to work it out, possibly with the national office acting as mediator.

APA Operator did contact me via PM, and I greatly appreciate the help everyone on this forum has been.

I did contact the national office last week. I spoke with someone, and they are forwarding it to another person for investigation. I was told I would get a call today, or tomorrow. I will gladly let you guys know what happens from this point on.

Just to clarify, I am not a L.O.
Just a long time player who defends the APA when needed.

I have corresponded with S.B.G and gave him the suggestion of corresponding with his L.O. in writing and then if necessary forwarding that info on the the APA office. That way he has proof that the L.O. is charging him an unrealistic amount.

Leagueguy.

My mistake. Glad your helping the OP out. I knew you and APA Operator would give him the right advice.

Hoping for the best in all this.
