The title says it, and I'm curious. Can cue silk seal a wooden shaft? I know that people may use Qwax. Can cue silk achieve the same/similar result, or at least achieve some sort of partial sealing (if that's possible)?

Might be best to ask in The cuemaker forum. It is listed as a cleaner and sealer. I use a drop as the final thing i do with cleaning my equipment. I wouldn't consider it a sealant but someone who understands that better than i may correct me.
Makes the shaft extremely slick. It is impressive. I only use it once every few months on my playing shaft when it needs freshening up. I usually play 10-15 hrs a week when things are open.
