I'd like to try a thought of having a three-piece, wood to wood jointed cue for travel, cut at 19, 19, and 20 (shaft) inch. Can I assume the joint extends 1 inch beyond the butt pieces, so that they are all 20 inches in length? All hopes would be to at least replicate the feel of a 1 piece house cue.
Providing the Dufferin and two G-10 pins at 3/8x10, what could I be expecting to spend?
And if this is a very poor idea, could you also elaborate?
