Can it be fixed?

Second shaft, same thing.

When Bill inspected the cue for LOA, he said the wrap was original.

Hen's teeth! The more exposure it gets, the more compliments. I'm getting more attached to this thing. Dammit.

I had it inspected the other day. I was advised to examine carefully under a magnifying glass for any hairline cracks in the area above a-joint where bolt would thread into forearm. I haven't found any, but I've stopped playing with it until I can get the work done. Too bad it won't be original condition anymore.

I would suggest removing the weight bolt and looking into the bore for an additional weight. Somewhere along the line it may have had a set screw style weight put in under the one that the bumper screws onto.
