can snooker player play one-pocket??

i have thought about this because it has been wrong practice to compare snooker with just 9-ball as if 9-ball is what represents pool in general and that how good snooker players adapt at pool (which is just 9-ball or occasionally 8 ball).

Snooker/one pocket

I have taught many good snooker players how to play one pocket. After they get the concept of driving a ball to the rail , and shooting bank shots ("doubles" to them ), many of them started to play tougher and most of them liked the game. Most top snooker players already play excellent safeties.
I was playing Neil Robertson, the Australian snooker player, and he was the "smartest" learning player I have ever seen. After playing a rack, I would show him better ways to play some of the previous shots, He would "Never" make the same mistake again!
Neil just won a major UK snooker tournament this season.

I played a guy from England while he was visiting Atlanta for a Snooker Tourney and he wouldn't play 9-ball, said there was too much luck involved and I can't play Snooker so we opted for neutral 8-ball. Nice guy that could run out if given the chance but he didn't like the 6 pack I dropped on him after the B&R he did on the opening rack. Was a fun night though playing a different style player from across the pond.

I think it is obvious that if they are faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive, and able to leap tall buildings with a single bound; then one-pocket should be no problem at all for them.
