Story is, a buddy of mine makes pool cue's locally and he will sometimes get a collection of house cues in from various sources.

I collect sneaky pete's and I like conversion cues so I am going through his bin a few years ago and find this old Brunswick house cue with a factory Butterfly and also had the big Brunswick B under the little plastic bubble.

Long story short, the stick had a short shaft (probably broken at some point in time) and I had him make me a cue out of it. I also had him remove the Brunswick logo and put the little Jolly Roger that I'm fond of in. So the place you see the Jolly Roger is the place where the Brunswick B was.

I keep looking around for another old Brunswick with a factory butterfly but I have never seen one. I want to see if other people have one or if they can date my cue.

Also post up any old Brunswick Conversions if you got them!

Pretty sure that Brunswick house cue was made by Dufferin of Canada.
....I sold a few thousand of them with the Dufferin logo in the same spot.
Still got a few two-piece cues with the round Brunswick logo....
...bought them at the Dufferin factory.

Dufferin called that design on your cue the 'flame'.

It appears to be an imported Brunswick cue that was sold in the 70''s and was pretty common and mass produced. The butt has also been altered and is not the origin cap.

Thanks to both replies. I did a quick image search and did find a Dufferin "flame" with almost exact same design, so now I am trying to find one with the Brunswick logo haha.

Yes, the cue maker added the butt cap afterwards. There wasn't a bumper and he wanted to put a cap on it to protect the bottom from splitting.

Thanks again!

Here is my Titleist conversion from a few years ago and two 70s Bunswicks that I'm having shafts built for.
