Can someone explain the price gouging business model?

I have access to dealer pricing and next time a good color comes out I may under cut the resellers and sell a few for $950-1000 and make a few hundred. It’s kinda crazy people are willing to pay this.

I wanted a colored BK rush. I have a Dark Grey model. I think they called it the Tempest. I was hoping to pick up a color that i liked, but now since they are going for $1000+ I guess i am sticking with it. I guess my next choice is the Air Rush in a cool color.

Everyone, for the love of god, please stop complaining about cues! Cue prices, cue sales, cue trading, cue identification… please focus on the actual game instead, and keep things positive and productive 🙏

Dude that’s all business. Lol every thing you buy is bought cheaper then they sell it to you. A cue flipper is a middle man no different than Walmart. Lol the only question is are you willing to pay it? As I said I have no clue why someone would spend more then twice as much to buy a rush Simply because it’s a different color but if you want to rock on. If people would pay that much they wouldn’t be selling it for that price.
My cue of choice right now is the p3 and the price they get on eBay is wild. People pay 3k for a predator p3 “limited edition” butt only and I don’t understand it at all. I feel that’s custom cue prices at this point. It’s not like it has a bunch of inlays or anything lol
No its not business, its scalping. Obviously people pay that much and thats why people do it but its fucked up in my opinion. The same with people who buy concert or event tickets just to resell.

Look around bud, the whole world is fk'd(mods will hit you for the full world. just a heads up) up. Its called supply and demand, no one is making you or anyone buy anything. Take a look at these: https://ravencue.com/collections/br...JlPE61ZFPmTOt8064du7nKmWv170tOuJDrzBOc_2dGkrh Will do anything a Pred will do for a third of the price.

Ahh the break cue market...yes it's quite something. Makes me want to pull a video of SVB ca. 2008 breaking with that skinny Schon (?) shaft and popping the rock a foot off the table. Do this mean the BK Rush can't guarantee that for us bangers?

If you ever want to sell that Raven you will just about have to give it away...$150 if you are lucky. As long as you keep your BK Rush in good shape it will always be worth close to what you paid.

Predators hold their value better than any other production cue, rivaled only by Mezz. They also trade extremely well. Listing a Predator on FB will get 5 times the messages and offers compared to any other production cue....if you have it priced within reason.

That is business. You’re an adult. YOU DONT HAVE TO BUY IT!!! You don’t need it. It’s not food that you have to buy no matter the price. It’s a pool cue. If the price isn’t what you think is fair don’t buy it. If I think it’s a fair price and I buy it it’s none of your business

I understand people are trying to make a quick buck and the Rush is in demand but its something i just don't agree with. Why buy something your'e just going to resell? Just so you can rip someone off for a few hundred bucks? Theres more honest ways to make money than that.

I think you should have some fun and start reading/ YouTube watching about the Rolex AD vs gray market/ resellers situation. “Wait lists” scarcity artificial or otherwise, buying steel sports watches well beyond retail etc…. You will be outraged. 😉

Discussion is fine. But maybe complaining is the only form of discussion some of you know.

“And who tf is even buying this 💩 ? Have people become THIS stupid in just 2 years?”

Please guys, there is already enough negativity in this country. I speak for many of us that beg you not to frame everything with a shitty attitude. Don’t be those types of pool players.

that's actually by design. anyone could buy a rolex in 1990, and a submariner costed $2000. then the mobile phone came and the demand for wrist watches died. rolex had to reinvent itself and become more exclusive, raise the prices into madness and actually limit production
