can someone help me to identify this cue and its maker?

Ive seen this before on ebay and i think there was a thread about it on here as well but i could be wrong. I believe they are claiming this is a samsara cue, whether it is or not i cant say.

i have once time seen the guy in my local pub play with another cue that has exactly the same symbol on butt cap as this one. i have been back to the pub many times but still couldnt see the guy to ask him. so hopeless.
 
Here's what I can tell you... He is claiming it is Samsara and I have purchased cues for this gentleman in the past so I trust that his story is accurate.

I have communicated with this gentleman before. He puts his CTB initials on the cue, so it saves the customer from having to pay 3-400 more for the cue makers name. These Sam*ara cues arent the first batch that he has done this with,the last batch of cues were from Car*lina Custom Cues.

Samsara and Joss make a lot of cues, chi town billiards, the Derby cues, i think too OB cues...nothing new here at all
 
I have a friend of mine that has a cue with this logo and it is for Chi Town Billiards and I know that the one he has was made by the guys and Carolina Cues. Hope this Helps.
 
Since he mentions J.S. and D.D. (Jim Stadum and Dave Doucette) in the description, along with the Smithsonian, it would be safe to assume that it was made at Samsara.

The seller has sold numerous Samsaras, marked with the TCB logo, on eBay. I'm not sure who else he buys cues from, but that has been discussed on AZ before.

This looks like a nice cue, but before I bought a Samsara with a TCB logo, I'd probably call the guys at Samsara to see what they'd sell me the Samsara logo'd version for. Just a thought, as times are tough for a lot of cuemakers...

I have a cue with the same logo, it is made by Carolina Custom Cues and it is branded with a Chi Town Billiarda logo
