I've heard hanging the cue from the tip for a few days in a warm room can straighten snooker cues out from weight alone. Safest option is to take it to a cuesmith and have it straightened out for you.

Used to make a product that required straightening after machining because so much wood was removed for slots on only one side. The solution was an air activated re-curve press with heated platens & a timer.
IOW straightening wood efficiently requires heat, pressure, & time. Varying one parameter changes the others.
i have straightened cues but not for hire. Time expended is unpredictable to dial in any given specific bend. The cue may change later for a related or unrelated cause but of course the last person to work on it is the culprit.
For general info, dry lignin in hardwoods softens around 320 Fdeg. Using water lowers the temp but AFA cues this add the risk it will change several days later when fully dry again. Steam can be used and dries fairly rapidly. Dry heat is a little more stable. Wood chars around 450 F deg, so the range is narrow.
