I bought this cue stick new in 1993. The vendor's sticker price was about $100 at that time. I can no longer remember what brand the stick is but the design sure looks like it could be a McDermott D7 cue stick. The problem is that there is no clover on the stick and I bought it after 1990. Does anyone know if another company used the same design as McDermott or what brand of stick I may have?
Can someone tell me if this is a McDermott cue stick?

Not Adam, that much is for sure.
There are a number of possibilities. The Asian cues were sold under numerous brand names.
It's possible it is a Kao-Kao factory cue, they made a lot of different brands of cue, but I don't know for sure.
It isn't one of the "better" ones. The ring work in that butt sleeve is probably overlays...decals...stickers...
