I saw an Asian match on YouTube where they had some sort of tracking on the table and they could visualize the table and the position of all the balls in 3D and then show it from any angle. I know something similar has been used during the Superbowl. I believe this could be the future... sure, not the same as live video. But it would actually be easier to stream the data as the "engine" is located on your desktop computer. And imagine being able to rotate the 3D view so you could see the layout from any angle and zoom in or out. But... what am I talking about... there's no money in pool for this type of technology !
