I have had this cue for a long time. It is a simple cue that plays great. I know what it is supposed to be, but I thought I would ask some of you out there who may be able to ID it for sure. Around 4 years ago, I had Kenny Murrell clean it up, put on the leather wrap, and make a new shaft for it.

Here are the specs:

Joint: 5/16 x 18 flatfaced

Joint diameter:0.822 inch

Cue length: 57" with original shaft (both original shaft and butt are 28.5")

Original shaft has ivory ferrule, but is not perfectly straight

Thanks, Joe

Joe,

I'm not seeing an image attached.

Really? It shows up on my computer. It is linked to photobucket. Anyone else not seeing the image? If so, I will delete this post and try a new one. Joe

I can see it now Joe. It must be a work thing.

Not a Helmstetter. Jensen isn't a bad guess though.,,,old McWhorter maybe? The ring work and pin are so generic that it could be alot of makers in the 80's-early 90's. Is that wrap smooth black leather?

You guys are good.... The cue is an old Jensen. When we took the irish linen off, it had "Jensen" and the date hand written under the wrap. The wrap Kenny Murrell out on it is very lightly textured. It is a very simple cue, but plays extremely well.
