I have 2 cats, I just use my vacuum cleaner with the soft bristled upholstery attachment. Works great. I would be afraid of sticky residue coming off a lint roller. Even though they r not that tacky.

Absolutely - I use the large one here all the time and it does an amazing job. It's also great for couches:

Believe it or not imo this basic lint brush works the best (see link). There's no residue possibility or the risk of over burnishing the cloth with spinning roller vacuums.

With that said after 'brushing the lint' off (from my girlfriends Rag Doll cat hair and the like) I will use the non spinning 2-3" wide brush attachment to my powerful new SHARK vacuum to pull out the chalk. Once its completely dust/lint free (about every 4-5 cleannings) I'll also use a damp rag to refresh the cloths fibers. After its drys and the balls are re-polished... welcome back to your base reference for building pool knowledge.

I use it all the time.... wish they made one with the handle about 4 inches off the cloth...
