Cannabis Sponsor

I know a guy, good B player, who will take a break, go outside and take a few hits.
When he comes back in he shots A speed for at least the next 15 -20 minutes.
When he returns, I’ve figured out to slow down and stall a bit until he comes back down to earth.
When he gets zoned in he plays some amazing pool

I personally think its a terrible idea, but then again, I would never legalize it for recreational use either. It certainly won't help the image of pool, but maybe the image is there for a reason given the wide number of posts here that suggest this is a good idea. Just my $.02.

For real but let's expand this. Look at the possibilities,
Cannabis could sponsor/finance:
The War on Drugs
A local AA retreat
A local NA facility.
Safe needle sites.

BIG EDU benefits enormously from gambling from those national lotteries...
haven't seen any negative issues there - have you?

You joined over three years ago and this is your first post? One that is sure to get a political debate going on the merits of weed? Nice try.
Guess I've always just read other people's comments and never needed to ask a question. The wife just picked up a pretty sweet sponsor. Wanted to hear people's opinions.

I respect that opinion. I was curious about this as well. I know the Las Vegas Lights just picked up a Cannabis sponsor and that team shares a Stadium with the triple A team of the NY Mets. Bunch of other Pros are picking up sponsors too. The industry is new and they have quite abit of money and are looking for advertising. I'll be curious to see what this conversation looks like in 24 months.

Wow, how many burner accts does this guy have with a zero post backlog to 2015?

Lol. I can assure I am very much real. I didn't realize we had a quota for posts. Like I said.... I just read alot. I'll be at the Joss in Maine this weekend and in Atlantic City next week. Thanks for all the humor.

Burner accounts... good one.

Yes. Lotteries regressively tax poor communities and distribute the money to middle class and upper class schools. But they don’t really. By earmarking that money for schools they take the money that was (or would have been) earmarked for schools and spend it on whatever they want.

That’s why despite billion dollar lottery purses we still have school spending property taxes hikes on every ballot.

It’s a tax on people who are bad at math and the money is basically stolen anyway.

So yeah. Bad.

Glad for her. IMO really no reason to prohibit cannibis. Pros need money and they have money. No kids watch pool anymore anyway. If you’re worried about the guys at the senior center, don’t worry about it. :)

Would it make you feel better if the sponsor is Acreage Holdings that has John Boehner on its Board of Directors?
