CaptainJR,

I saw your post about matching up in the future of pool thread - and I would like to offer you first dibs. I can see by your captain's dress that you are very experienced at reeling in fish like me!

As mentioned in the other thread, I have deep pockets - and I'm ready to go off (sometimes several times a week) - but those champions at the planet pool tournament all know this (if you think the line at space mountain is bad...)

Now how should we match up? You must be a champion to be playing in the planet pool tournament with all those other champions. I am a fairly weak player - in fact I have only been playing this game 2-3 years - and I goto these planet pool tournaments to try and learn something from these worldbeaters. Also, I just got a predator and I'm not used to the deflection yet...I can't make any shots with english yet.

I will probably need a sizable spot to make things fair, being that you are one of these planet pool champions. You should understand that I am scared to matchup and even more scared when I am on the table. I am ready to go off, but I need to feel like I have a chance, or I will be too scared to play against a champion calibre player like yourself.

I think it would be smart for us to lockup before the planet pool tournament. I will be easy to identify, I'll wear my apa jacket (it has leather sleeves) and several patches. Please let me know how you'd like to matchup and for how many bills!

CaptainJR was the one who said he saw me first. Even over the internet, I can tell he is already drooling over the sweet sweet action with me - Landshark even commented on how aggressive and possessive he was about locking down my action!

I guess I wasn't very clear about it and you didn't know the history of the other thread so My post could have misslead you.

VAP and I are going to have a match. When you said in your post replying to VAP that you might gamble a little. I replied to you that I saw him first. Refering to VAP, not refering to you.

In the future of pool thread you quoted me and said 'I saw him first', so I thought you were talking about me - it was an honest mistake.

I am very happy for you for getting this sweet action with VAP. You should bet as much as you can and make sure you cash in on this once in a lifetime opportunity!

i might need the 7 though, i'm sure capt is much more winded than i am for such a long ahead set.

I wasn't going to gamble VAP...I just meant I might try to find some action at the tournament. I thought the captain was going after me...so I tried my best to summon up what little heart I have to try to matchup with this champion.

Hopefully the Captain and VAP do this right and bet high! I'll even offer to writeup the action report for the forum.

No problem egg. It's going to be fun. After all, the only thing I can lose is a little money. The only thing that I set out to prove is that his term "craw" was out of line. He will have to beat me pretty badly to repeat his statement '..... trying to run before you can craw...'. I'm not a pro, but I'm certainly no slouch either. It would take a top player to make me look that bad in a race to 11 in 8 ball. Maybe if I had a bad day or match and played like I played my last match in Hagerstown. It could happen, but I wouldn't count on it though.

there's ALWAYS room for negotiation..........

especially since it would take such a champion to beat you........you shouldn't be taking any risk at all playing lil ole me......

besides, the pressure might help you get to the next level........

oh man this is a SHAME!! For a champion to have the nuts and only play them for a bill - in a long race...of 8 ball! That will barely cover time!! You can play a race to 11 for a nickel, but for $100, I think you may be insulting VAP's heart.

Only if I lose! And if I do I know places where I can get checks cashed with out ID, I can get instant cash in my pocket and all I need is a car title...and I still get to keep the car!!!! (At least that is what the commercial said.
