from what i hear a break shaft is a little bitter thicker with carbon fiber making it more stiffer in the front.

Define "great" If you mean well made as in round and straight with the right weight and carbon fibre tube thickness, that's not so hard, but when you word it like you do, it sounds like you think there are some magical properties to a break shaft, whatever filler material, ferrule and so on you use it's still the player it comes down to.

I want to make a shaft that has a lot of pop. Just seeing if there is a certain type of materials, weight and balance that make a great breaker.
