eyeglass wipes.Which is the best way to clean a carbon fiber shaft? Water? Alcohol? Anyone try black magic? Ultra - Glide from Mcdermott?
that's what I use too and it works perfectly. In fact, when I need to clean my glasses, I get my ignite out of the case too and rub that down with the same wipe. Am I a stingy cheap ass now?eyeglass wipes.
NOIs Q Wis shaft cleaner good to use on a carbon fibre shaft
I use these for my eyewear, iphone and Revo shafts.... and yes cheap enough.I use these things:
They're cheap. they evaporate quickly, great also on screens, glasses, and other random stuff. A spectacular product, way better than the pool branded stuff.
That's an abrasive, it's no good for carbon fiber. Is Q Wis shaft cleaner good to use on a carbon fibre shaft

afaik most(all?) cf shafts are uncoated. i clean my Rhino with 90%alc and have never noticed any glassy/tacky issues.i have been using 70% alcohol wipes for a while and although it really cleans the shaft, the cf shaft turns slightly glossy and tacky now, instead of the slick matte surface when brand new.
is there anyway to recoat cf shafts get back that matte coating?
