Members know I'm a fan of hybrids rather than full CF shafts.
A navy vet from NC, Jerry H, had Phantom Hybrids make him a custom shaft from White Ash and African Blackwood to accent the black and white ebony of his cue.

31", 12.4mm, 18" straight taper, 4.25 ozs of solid consistent hit and the ash provides excellent feedback. Jerry said English is easy to use as there's minimal deflection from the shaft. Point and shoot, he told me the shaft plays Phenomenal!!
If you're on the fence or going to spend coin on a CF Shaft, I highly suggest you consider a Hybrid first.
