It all depends, if it is a longitudinal split, or a cross grain, shatter in the shaft. Super glue is very good in an area that is very close fitting like in a split cracked shaft. The wick in very thin cyano will be as strong as the original resin. There will be a reason for a longitudinal spit occurring in the shaft as well. If it is shattered , then the only other option apart from a new shaft, is to cut off the front 10 to 12 inches, and add a new front section. Any closer than the 10 inch mark, and it will have an effect of the shaft over all and not play the same.True, but would you trust it on a hard shot? Carbon slivers suck.
