Carbon fiber shaft issue

True, but would you trust it on a hard shot? Carbon slivers suck.
It all depends, if it is a longitudinal split, or a cross grain, shatter in the shaft. Super glue is very good in an area that is very close fitting like in a split cracked shaft. The wick in very thin cyano will be as strong as the original resin. There will be a reason for a longitudinal spit occurring in the shaft as well. If it is shattered , then the only other option apart from a new shaft, is to cut off the front 10 to 12 inches, and add a new front section. Any closer than the 10 inch mark, and it will have an effect of the shaft over all and not play the same.
