I never used a finish as such, but do a product that seals in the carbon so your hands get
less black on them.
Not sure what others use. Mine is a proprietary product that we use.

The carbon fiber blanks give you a pretty smooth surface that can be wet sanded, polished and seal. The quality of the blank determines any or how much color coming off it.
