It should already be slick. Yours might be dirty. Either that or you get sweaty hands and will need to use a glove.

I guess it is OK to use liquid car polish on carbon fiber shafts. Probably won't hurt the shaft.

I have used a nano-ceramic product on both wood and CF shafts with great success.

Really, sounds like it would work well. I have Pechaurer Rogue that's nice, maybe I'll try that.

Rexus is correct. A CF shaft should be slick. Is your shaft painted or coated with something other than CF?

Sure, you can't really do any damage to a CF shaft unless you scratch it or put something on it that can eat through it like acid or mess up the finish. I have actually put some car wax on my OB Carbon shaft, and it became a bit too slick, it felt odd going through my fingers with so little friction. I think I used one of the cheaper ceramic waxes, worked well.

I tried some Turtle Wax liquid today on my Cuetec CF shaft. Feels slick and smooth.

I use a nano-ceramic coating specifically made for cues. Both CF and Wood end up with a glass like finish. Really nice. IMHO.
