Custom Cues For Sale
This is an elegant and slick cue by Ariel Carmeli. It starts with a rosewood butt sleeve and ebony points into a very pretty piece of stained curly maple. In the butt sleeve are six ivory inlaid diamonds and arrowheads forming a sleek design.
The six ebony points (three long and three short) are framed with three layers of veneer (from the inside out they are maple, black, and maple). The points are very sharp and the veneers are clean and straight.
In each point there is an inlaid ivory elongated arrowhead and overall, the cue comes with a total of 66 ivory inlays in the butt and the two shafts.
The ring work in this cue is exceptional for a cue in this price range. They are made up of double silver rings with inlaid ivory diamonds, and are positioned at the top and bottom of the butt sleeve, above the wrap, at the joint and on the shafts.
The cue also has a black textured leather wrap on the handle. This cue comes with two shafts with LBM ferrules and Elk Master cue tips. It has been played, but is in excellent condition and rolls straight together and apart.
It is fitted with a 3/8 X 11 pin and a flat-faced wood to wood joint for ultimate playability. It weighs about 19.0 ounces with either shaft.The cue has some scratches or dings here and there because of regular play but can be easily taken out with a refinish job.
The cue was made January 2012 as the picture shows in Carmeli's signature and I had this cue since May 2012.The Carmeli cue including two shafts is for sale for $1400 or best offer.
