I just got this cue in it is in new condition only being test hit a few times...It is a nice cue from Carolina Customs done up in Ebony and Ivory with Balabushka-ish looking veneers ... This Cue shines and is done up in a very nice peacock style ... I would keep it for myself but have been getting into Leon Sly's cues ... He makes a great cue that hits out of this world ... Also got one coming in from Doug Patrick and Jimmy Lee ... The cues I get from these three and two others that were made for me will be my keepers .... So I can part with this one here....
Cue Specs :
- Butt: 14.3 ounces (weight can be added)
- Shaft: 3.9 ounces, 13mm, LBM, triangle tip
- Joint: 3/8x10 stainless steel pin, wood to wood joint with stainless sleeve
- Collars: Black phenolic with silver beauty rings
- Forearm: Nice curly maple
- Points: Four razor sharp ebony points with four veneers, black, orange, olive, natural (outside-in), all dead even. Balabushka-ish looking
- Inlays: Each point has a nice reverse peacock ivory inlay
- Wrap: Black with white specks pressed irish linen
- Rings: Solid black phenolic ring at D/E
- Butt sleeve: Solid ebony with eight ivory peacocks separated by four fancy notched ivory diamonds
- Butt cap: White phenolic with trademark "CC" logo
- Very nice look of ebony and Ivory
Looking to sell this cue for 600.00 ..O.B.O.
Would also be willing to trade this cue for cue and cash or a nice cue .... Will look at most cues but really interested in any Sly cues out there....
