Carom, Combo, or Bank drill

I was doing my 15 ball practice drill and was getting bored. So. I switched to this drill for a change of pace.

Now this, may not be new a drill. Even tho I haven't read about it anywhere doesn't mean it ain't out there somewhere.

I roll the 15 balls out on the table. The object is to use a carom, combo, or bank shot to make balls. Very challenging drill.

It will slow you down and really make you look at the ball layout on the table in a different way. You will devolep the skill to see these type of shots during a match and, from practcing them, you will have the confidence to execute the shot.

There have been matches that I won because I was able to execute one of these shots to keep me in the game. People that play only 9 ball don't see alot of these shots wheres they are very common use in 14.1 and 8 ball.

To take it one level up is to make this a point game. Kinda like trick shot where the shot is given a certain point value based on the degree of difficulty.

Like a carom is 3 points. Bank shot points depends on how many rails the OB goes before hitting the pocket. Combo points depends on the number of balls in the combo excluding the CB.
