Are billiard cues generally balanced towards the center? I know they are generally shorter than pool cues and the taper is stiffer. My Adam has a steel joint and I had a 3c shaft converted from wood pin to 5/16×14. I think it plays nicely. The butt is short too compared to a standard cue so the carom shaft balances in proportion
