Hi All,

I would like to know if somebody knows if exists some kind of metallic/aluminum case, were to put inside the cue case when it is necessary to travel by air.

If yes, were could I buy it?

Thanks in advance
Julio

Do a google search for "dry box". Most of these are not metal but they are plenty durable for protecting your cue case during air travel.

Case

Try MUELLERS SPORTING GOODS. They have cases specifically approved for air travell by the FAA. Since 9-11, they are very selective on what can be loaded on a plane. Regards, Kennyratt

For our trip to the APA in Vegas we purchased a Samsonite extra large dufflebag on wheels. It had a zipper compartment on the bottom that was surrounded buy metal reinforcement. Three cue cases fit in it perfectly (with some underware stuffed around them).

dufflebag

I prefer the rolling dufflebag solution. I tend to travel rather heavy and I carry a garment bag as well as another bag normally. I can’t seem to get everything in just one bag. With the duffle there is plenty of room for extra stuff besides the cue(s). Since the airlines limit us to two pieces of checked luggage this keeps me to that limit. One time I checked my cue in addition to my two other bags, on the outgoing leg they just let it go. On the return leg I had to pay an additional $75 for the third piece of luggage. After that I went out and got a duffle.

Cheers
