Case for long jump cue?

I am looking at picking up a new case and I have a longer than 'normal' three piece jump cue (Predator Air 2) and the butt with both parts together is about 19 inches long. Are there any cases that accommodate these longer jump cues well, or have a spot for them? In my current el cheapo case I just have both parts of the butt loose in one of the compartments and I would like something that protects them better.

Any suggestions are welcome, but I would prefer something reasonably affordable ($250 or less) and simple (non-flashy).

Thanks.

I have a 3-piece Lomax jump cue, which is similarly too long for a typical jump cue butt pocket, so I just keep it in one of the 3 butt holes (heh heh) of a 3x5 case, and get it out by screwing its shaft into it. My playing cue extension goes in the smaller pocket. Works for me.

i have a jb rugged case and at the time i had him make me a spot for my haggard extension. when he did, he made a sleeve with a dowel rod in it that goes into the interior of the case. The sleeve sticks out some so if the extension falls down, the sleeve with the dowel rod will pull it up. Lately I havent been carrying the extension since i bought a jump cue, use it in the same slot. works very well.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys.I had never thought of it, but I guess I could try to fashion some type of spacer and just put it in the regular spot for a butt in the case. But I worry that the spacer may get stuck should I ever need to get it out down the road...

rrich1, I think I understand what you mean, but I'm having trouble visualizing it. Do you have any photos, it sounds like an interesting idea and I like the looks of the JB Rugged cases.

Does anyone have any experience with the Predator Blak 2x4 case? On their website they claim it has "molded pockets for Predator Air Jump cue" but I can't find any pictures of what they look like anywhere online...

Any other suggestions please fire away!

This is a picture of my JB case with a Predator Air 2. There is a removable spacer for the butt of the Predator Air.

Here is a link to the Predator 2x4 case with pockets for the jump cue. http://www.seyberts.com/predator-case-2x4-blak

Here are the pics. I actually have 2 interiors for my case. If you look at the rugged case website that is my case in the pics. One interior is a 2/3 with a spot for my extension. The other is a 3/4. I normally have the sleeve a little further down. It doesn't get in the way at all. Job made the sleeve out of the same interior cloth as the case.

Thanks for the photos guys! I think I'm going to get a JB case, I like the simple looks, functionality, and they seem to be one of the best in terms of protection. Dhintz one more question if you don't mind, did your JB case come with the spacer or did you have to specify you wanted one included?

again that is my case in the jb link. I think the extra interior was like $25 at the time. If you wanted to you could probably have them make one specifically with a short interior so no spacer was needed and then have an extra regular interior.
