Looking at the zipper this case cannot be branded...even if a huge YKK is stamped on it it still cannot be from one of those big italian or french brands.
The butterfly LV case showed earlier in brown LV Damier print is a fake...and the lowest grade kind of fake..didn't even bother with the hardwares. Infact i don't think it even constitue as a fake, they probably just looked for a damier print canvas and made a case, doesn't seem to have any LV logos or hardware anywhere on that case.
Based on my research the checkerboard pattern was brought out in like 1887 by LV. They first brought out the pattern and then a few years later they did the logo to ward of knockoffs.
I think that this is the basis of some of the big fashion brands splashing their logos all over the bags that they make.
So I don't think that just the checkerboard pattern constitutes a "fake" per se. A knockoff is a copy of a particular construction anyway. A counterfeit is a knockoff that uses the trademark.
So this brown case shown is neither a knockoff nor a counterfeit nor a fake. Just a cue case made in the same "look" as LV as far as the checkerboard pattern goes. The rest of it is clearly NOT LV quality.
