i'm looking for an inexpensive case, something that holds 4 sticks.

my question is this.

does a 3/8 10 pin cue require a special case?

i just bought a mali with this pin and it barely fits my square 2x2 case.it's leaving a mark on the top of the lid.i wanted to get some nice custom joint caps for it but i'm afraid they won't fit in the case.

any suggestions?

A lot of import cases are not consistent in size. A lot of them these days were copied from a time when cues were mostly 29" with a one inch pin and no joint protectors.

The 3/8x10 pin is about 1.5" in length and a JP adds about a quarter inch to a half inch over that. Which means you need a case that holds 31" comfortably.

send and email to sales@cuesight.com and they will go and measure which cases have this capacity and email you the results back.

My wife picked me up a 4X8 csae as the Louisiana BCA for under a $150 sping loaded and will hold up to 62" cues w/o problems and is dry and protective, love it and was sweet of her to p/u for me. I use it exclusively for tourney play now as my Jump, break, sparecue, and regular cue all fit comfotably.

PS she stocked it with a Schon LTD as a kicker, what a nice lady.
