What kind of case is this??

Hey there AZ'ers, I need your help. I am wanting to find out what kind of case this is. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!! It is a grey suede with wood caps at each end. Thanks!!!

You are scary good. Someone who knows as much or more than me about case brands just by looking at them.

Now, I will give a little history lesson that maybe you might not already know....

Bob Meucci came up with the foam core idea and he showed it to Joe Porper and that was the birth of Joe Porper cases. But Joe Porper didn't know how to mix the chemicals and it was Leonard Bludworth that modified his machine to provide the right mix each time.

That's how I heard it from Bob and Leonard, don't have Joe's side but as far as I know this is the origin of the foam core cue case.

As for the history, I believe I heard that before...from you of course.


These old TLCs are cool, but we don't often see them in nice condition. I don't think they were particularly durable but the design has historic significance as you point out.
