Central Texas Sparring Partner

Hi im looking for a strong sparring partner near Temple Texas. I curently have a buddy i can give the 7 to and win 90 percent of the time. Im a strong 7 weak 8 in the apa 9ball league. I have this burning desire to play in the Texas Open for the first time this year but I have an issue playing in tournaments. Im no longer as nervous as i used to be but I seem to take the short shots for granted and it kills me (you can read my blog at poormanintexas.blogspot.com). If its for money or just messing around practice im spot on. I think i just need a push in the right direction. thanks in advance.

I don't get the gist from your post that you're looking to "hire" someone as a sparring partner...but more just looking for someone better to play with, who is nearer to you. Is that true? If so, you should repost this in the main forum, instead of the instructor forum.
