challenge: high run using total chaos methodology

Just for the record, I'm not really as good of a player as it appears on the video. I was playing over my head. Yes, you can share it.

Thanks for the laugh Hal. That was great. More entertaining than many pro tournament videos.
I'll try to post my 15 ball run later today. I ran 14, got straight in on the break ball, hammered it in the hole trying to do a power follow shot and get to the rack. I made the shot and toally missed the rack. I then called the 10ball in the corner(corner ball). Broke up the rack and the damn 12 ball went in :).

Any techniques for making a ball off a spoiled break ball shot? i.e. making a ball on a racked pack of 14 balls with no break ball? I made the corner ball twice on spoiled breaks by hitting the second ball in the pack. Unfortunatly I scratched both times.

If you're under the rack, you can bank the corner ball into the middle bag. If you're uptable, you can long bank the corner ball to kitchen corner pocket. If you're stuck to the rack without any loose balls, have a beer !
:p

I was impressed by your methodical playing style and concentration

I'll post a more serious run later. I don't know much about straight pool. Does it matter how or where you set up the break ball?

nah man you can start off with a break shot and set it up anyway you want

OK. I racked 15 balls. I broke and ran 14. Then I racked 14 balls. I shot the remaining ball (without moving the cue ball) and broke the rack up. I then ran 5 more balls. So I ran 20 right?

Funny shit!
God knows how you missed the first ball

The hat throw was impressive. Seems you've had a lot of practice doing that! :p

I'll give those a try. Thanks for the tips. Hope I don't have to use them to often :). Much easier when things go well and you get a break ball. In my video straight pool run I posted, I almost had a good break ball but ran into it and moved it into the rack area. Still learning this challenging game.

oh man...your pattern isn't quite the calibre of play we're looking for here :D
