Challenge match between Shane vs KO?

Let me tell you the truth about what so called "pool gambling". there are only 2 scenarios which covers 99.99% of what so called "actions":

1. some guys run around trick and cheat weaker players for money and they are proud of doing it, other railbirds admire their cheating skill (hustling).
2. Most of pro pool player don't have the money for big money match so 99.99% of the time you see a big money match, they are there like horses running for someone elses to bet on. Pressure ? I don't know where the pressure is when you play for free cheese.

All you say about omg pro pool players gamble for 20k 30k are ****shit, no pool players really gamble for that money. They have backers and they play for free money. If you don't know the difference then you don't know what gamble is.

It is not about how much you bet on a match, it's about how much of your bankroll you dare to bet. The pro poker player bet 30k against Orcullo but for him 30k is like 0.01 of his bankroll, it has the same effect as I bet $10. And I assure you no american PRO pool players have the what so called HEART of betting lets say 30% of their bankroll EXCEPT it's a lock to win. all the barking going around about GAMBLING BIG MONEY are just ****shit and make me laugh so hard why some people still can not see the truth.

Wanna see PRO pool players bet all their bankroll on a set, go to asia.

Again, there may be exceptions that I don't know of, I'm only talking for 99.99% of pro pool players.

I don't think I've ever had a problem with any of your posts, but I feel as though I must put you in your place for making such an ignorant statement. I'll try to be nice though.

1. Money won while being backed is NOT "free cheese." The horse still has to cross the finish line first. You don't get paid just for showing up (exhibitions excluded).

2. It truly is asinine to say there is zero pressure on a player getting backed. When that razor thin cut on the 9 is the difference between getting paid and walking away with nothing, the player will be under pressure. Regardless of whether or not they are putting up the money.

3. Getting backed might even result in more pressure. You don't perform well, and lose more than you win. Guess what? Your backer walks. The only worry you have when betting your own is that you have the money to cover.

1. It's free cheese in the sense that you don't have to risk anything. when you say you gamble but the worst scenario is break-even, that's free cheese. Otherwise, don't use "gamble". The horses don't gamble, they work.

2 & 3. I agree there is pressure, but it's nothing compare to putting up the same amount from your pocket. Come back to the point of how much of the bankroll a pro willing to bet to "gamble" (not to steal). If you don't believe me, ask any pro, the answer will surprise you. I don't think it will pass the 30%.

If someone feels more pressure when getting backed is because he never experienced both scenarios or the money is not high enough to overcome the "scare of losing face" ( this happens when the bet is reasonable and the player can play with his own money comfortably but still choose to have a backer ).

Chris Bartrum has said on here that he feels the same pressure when being backed or when betting his own.

Yeah. Playing with own money and betting big is pressure.. But being backed and playing big stakes is pressure also. It's just little different pressure but same effects.
