Play will run from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. today, tomorrow and Saturday. Sunday's play will conclude around 4:00 p.m.
We're still working on live streaming but have encountered a variety of technical issues.
In the first round, Pedro P. defeated Bill S. 35 to 18 in 30 innings. Pedro started fast then struggled toward the end, taking 12 innings to score his final 4. Bill was a little unlucky in the leaves and struggled a little with the long table.
On table 2, the battle of the Torreses occurred, with Miguel emerging victorious over Frank, 35 to 20, in 19 innings. Miguel drove in from New York early in the morning, had just 15 minutes practice on the table, and run a 10.
Table 3 saw Hugh P. run a 13 and take a big lead. George staged a little come-back in the end but it was not enough. Hugo prevailed 35 to 30 in 28 innings.
Now on the table are: Hugo v. Frank, Mike K. v. Jae Cho, and Sonny Cho v. Mercedes. Sonny is up 29 to 12 in 17 innings. The other games are closer. More later.
