i could not find much about them in a google search
any one know their durometer number?
any one know about the company /when were they popular etc

They made the original Champion tip with the red pad. Those things hit great. Dan Janes still offers them as an option. He bought up all he could find yrs ago. They're a med. tip. Proved are (in brackets you find the hardness peaks in Shore D): Champion (74) Comprime (71) Crown (71) Eureka (72) Laminated (71) Match (69) Rocky (64) Rond (Cuir Rond) (67) Super-Royal (72) In due time Chandivert had their own hardness scale rated from 1 to 10 headed by the tripled pressed Rocky tip with 10 points being the hardest. In my test the Rocky tip is the softest (!).
