There should be a weight bolt under the rubber bumper...
...t can be changed for a lighter one or simply hack saw part of it off.
Replacements can also be bought if you can get the right size and thread,

thank you but i think nothing under the rubber bumper ,i just see the wood....

If it doesn't have a weight bolt, will be hard to change the weight. Don't remember if Jerry Mcworter is still making cues or not, but I'd try to ask him.

Was a suggestion, if you are asking how to change the weight on a expensive custom that doesn't have a weight bolt, what kind of an answer did you want?

Take a drill to it, it will weigh less if that is a better answer for you.

I talked to Jerry tonight and the following is basically what he said.
His cues are made without weights so you can only add weight which is not the direction you want to go. The weigts of his cures are basically 19 oz. with a little give or take.
I asked about drilling and he kinda discouraged it but did not take a big stand on not doing it. He made the commnt that it would not remove very much weight.
I know this is not what you wanted to hear however it's from the master himself.
