Changing Olehausen cushions

I have an Olehausen 8" pool table which I bought used in 1994. It was probably 5- 8 years old at that time and it does not have acu-fast cushions. Will the rails need to be modified or replaced in order to replace the cushions with Acu-fast series. I have a dead cushion on the end rail.

Question 2: does Olehausen make replacement cushions for the older tables not equiped with acu fast? If not can some one recommend a brand of rubber cushion I can order on line and do myself?

I am pretty handy and would like to do this myself if possible along with replacing the felt.

Thanks

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum. First thing to do is measure the thickness of the rail. Accu-fast cushions are for 1 1/2 " rails. You also want to measure the old cushion on the table. Normal K-66 measure 1 1/8th" topside and 1 3/16th" on the glue side. I'm pretty sure you have normal K-66. I would reccomend tour edition cushions from Championship.

Thank you Pat!

The accu-fast bumpers will fit right on the older Olhausens. I keep Accu-fast in stock if you need them. They are killer bumpers and have great action. Best I've ever played on. PM me if I can be of help to you.

Pat you were exactly right on the measurements and the site you reccomended is excellent as it has instructions and all the accessories necessary to do the job. Thanks for your help?

Pat do you sell cushions and supplies? Do you have access to the acu fast brand?
