Changing Weight of Viking Cue

Can someone please explain to me how to change the weight of this cue? I've looked on internet and can't find a specific answer for Viking.

Remove the bumper. The weight bolt(s) take a 1/4 inch hex (allen wrench). It may be in there deep so a long hex tool may be required. Once you get it out you can replace with a smaller one or cut it down. If you wand to add weight, just skip removing what's there and screw the added weight in and snug it down against what's there. Replace the bumper.

1 inch of bolt is approx 1/2 ounce.

Thank you. I was overthinking this. I just couldn't find anything specific on Viking and the website said to have an authorized dealer do it. I got the weight bolts in the mail today and they looked wider than I thought the hole was. I went home and grabbed my cue and then to hardware shop and everything fits.
