I have an old jensen plain jane from 1991. It is bacote with black collars simple ring work and a black leather wrap. The wrap is beat up and makes the cue look cheap.I want to put a new wrap that makes the cue look sharp but want to keep as much value as i can. What suggestions do you guys have linen leather cork.let me know. Thanks

If it had a leather wrap, it's best to put another leather wrap on it. You are going to run into some issues trying to put linen on.

I don't think he'll have any troubles. The leather should be the same thickness as linen.

If it had a smooth black wrap or a textured black wrap then put on the same type of wrap. Don't switch to gator, lizard or something wild if you want it to hold value. Is the wrap scuffed or chunks taken out? If just scuffed you might repolish it like a pair of shoes.

I wouldn't normally chime in, but once he mentioned Jensen, I just had to.

The leather should be the same, but I've seen some of Mike's leather jobs
