Charlie The Ape and Crazy Bruce

Last time I asked if any of you knew some stories about Crazy Bruce, but has anyone ever heard of Charlie the Ape? Anyone got any stories? Some more stories about Bruce would be appreciated also. Thanks.

Bruce is a real living person and although I did tell a story myself about him, I am always uncomfortable with discussing people on an Internet board who are not public people. I don't think it should be done. I am not sure if the Diliberto book being sold on here may not have some problems with some of his stories. The one excerpt they have printed on here as a teaser has some embarrassing things said about some people. I wonder if there is any legal problems he may have exposed himself to? I'm not a writer and don't know how the laws work. Do you need a release from someone before you write about them? Could you be liable?

There are laws against slander, libel (slander in writing), defamation of character, etc. But those don't apply when you are telling a true story of what really happened. I am asking for true stories of Charlie the Ape and Crazy Bruce, not fairy tales. There is no harm in it.
