New room owners are having a 9 ball tournament in Rock Hill at Breakers this weekend.Jeff and Amy the owners are great people and they are hosting one of Shannon's Southern billiard tour tournaments this weekend and I would like to see a bunch of AZers show up and have some fun. Post up here if you are going to make it and let me know and the poolroom is right off the interstate(I 77) just a few miles south of Charlotte.--Leonard
 
you going for the same two in the calcutta this week as last week if you get the chance? You can't do much better if you can get either one at a good price and lil tony is hitting them good.--Leonard

I'm not sure about the calcutta. I bought Tony because he beat me out of $80 before the tourney and I saw how comfortable he looked! Turned out to be a good investment:)
 
I know I haven't been around all that long,but if any of you guys wanna meet ye Ol Thunderball just introduce yourself.I'll be wearing a hat similar to this one.The color is about right,but the interlocking SC is lighter on mine (same color as the hat).

Hey I'm going to ride over tonight and I'll be wearing a black t shirt with a green Wild O Hares brew and pub logo on the front and saturday i'll bhave on a black t with white Stroke It on the front
 
Met Easy last night as chance would have it.Figured I'd let the room know that he's not just up to watch it,but he's in the fight as I understood him.

I'll buy him the calcutta if I get over there in time,not sure at all of his chances as I've never seen him or the others play live,but I'll give him some AZ backing (well,money on him) if I get the chance.

Its no AZ10 as we had we had for JS but what the hell.I'll be the AZ1 of sorts.

Wish him well...nice guy.
 
dadgum Thunderball I was there all night sitting at the corner of the bar watching the ring game and the one hole untill it was nick up 4 to 0 over Brady and I didn't see no hat.I'll be back tonight late and tomorrow early.---Leonard
 
Yea it will start back up at two on sunday if everything goes as usual with Shannons tourneys, Ive been to 4 and always the same plan, if there were only a few players it might be different but the way it looked last night there will be 50 or 60 at least. Come on over Sunday and watch some great pool Shannon-Nevel- Watson-Parks -Chewbacca-Nick V-Lewis-Gene Cooper-Jeff P-Brady-Gabe Owen to name a few. I'll be wearing a black STROKE IT t shirt.--Leonard

I'm going to be driving up there tomorrow from Clemson, SC so I can watch and hopefully learn something. How is the tournament laid out? Do they have a section where you can sit down and watch? And it starts tomorrow at 2:00 right?

We are starting tomorrow at 1pm. There's not really anywhere to sit except around the tables. People just pack in and set up shop wherever you can find a spot. Come join us- you will for sure get to see some good pool played.

I am updating the tourney in a new thread if you want to follow todays matches.

I'll be back tomorrow...same ball cap...not sure of the hour but i'll be there.
Fat/35/white if it helps lol.
