Has anyone ever been to Chattanooga billiards?

When I was 17 my friend Brian (who was one of the better players in Nashville and the BEST on the 4x8 Gold Crowns at Snooker's in Antioch) wanted to take me there to play in the 9 ball tournament with him and another player named Jay. You had to be 21 to get in, but Brian felt like he knew the right people and that I could get in with no problems. SO..we made the 3 or 4 hour drive (whatever it was) out there, walked in, and sure enough they wouldn't let me play.

In the brief moment of time we were in there I remember the owner had a huge cue collection displayed in really nice display cases along the wall I think. Any kind of cue you could imagine I guess, but the only one I remember studying was a Balabushka (through the glass of course). Seemed like a nice place. Wish I could have played there.

Any time you walk in the door of a pool hall and have to immediately go up or down stairs, THAT'S a real pool hall to me. Unless Chatanooga Billiards has moved, it definitely qualifies.

I was there playing in a Busch League regional about a million years ago. Ok, it was 1988. Very fun place.

I am a member at the CBC "East" location.
The downtown location is still there, but this one is more convenient.
Great place to play.
And yes, Phil's cue collection is quite nice.
Here's the link to the newer location.
Unfortunately, there are no photos of the cues.
