Maybe this is the wrong forum but I want everyone to see how good a job Joe Whitten does on building a cue case in a really reasonable amount of time and with this level of quality.
My wife got tired of seeing my cues being hauled around in a case that was literally falling apart. Here is the new case that Joe built. I think he did a fantastic job and it really goes well with my cues IMO. The build quality is top notch and I REALLY REALLY LIKE IT!!! The cues pictured are my Darrin Hill Full Splice with yellow Micarta ferrules and a Jerico "Whip" (Jerry Powers) J/B

this is my player package
what do you think?

That is a stunning case!! Having struggled to get the butts out of my case, I took advice offered on this forum & bought some springs at Lowes for $3.50. I am certainly not enjoying your aesthetic experience, but it was a cheap functional upgrade. I think Whitten has springs.

Great case! I think it complements your cues quite nicely. I have a Whitten as well and really like it.

Got back on the 13th

Nice cue and case combo! You still comin' to San Francisco?

Sorry... I had NO TIME AT ALL to get out and play in San Francisco. We were on the convention floor all day and entertaining clients in the evening. I would have loved to got out and see the sights. I did see that HOLLYWOOD BILLIARDS on Market st. was closed down. Man that place looked like it had seen it all!!!

Maybe next time my friend,

Combo

Yeah, it all goes together pretty nice. What's the weight on that empty Whitten (looks like a 3 x 6? right?).

it's a 2x4. Not sure of the empty weight but it's built like a tank! It's balanced really well full or empty. It's feels substantial but not TOOO heavy

Whitten case

Very nice looking case,it will probably last you a long time. I bought mine used from a guy four years ago that bought it new in about 1995 or 1996.
