ok.. this ebay auction really caught my eye...

now.. its not the meucci cue thats listed. its the schon.. to me, nothing looks right for it to be a schon except the buttcap and thats even too blurry to make out... anybody esle ever see one like this? i mean.. i know there is old ones with sharp points.. and even some newer ones.. but it just strikes me as odd.. and the ring work around the joing looks compley odd too...

i dunno.. unless its just me..

what does everyone else think?

i would'nt trust anyones judgement who refers to shafts as tips,just my 2 cents,,,,,,,,,,,,WM
 
One of the Schon shafts has a Micarda but neither of the rings on the Schon shafts match the rings on the forearm.
 
And when are people going to learn to CLEAN the shafts before you take pictures to sell it.
 
ebay schone auction

i figgure someone will bid on it. i think it is an early schon with two shafts. looks like sharp points, maple stictching at joint on one shaft(the one with the micarta ferrule) and butt. i am not gointg to say how high i think it will go but i do think it will sell.

Two shafts just not the ones that came with the cue :)
 
A sick thought

That thing is probably a Szam forearm. He made the early blanks for Bob.
And Ouch how do you like it now! Gaurenteed the seller it not the only clueless one out there!

nick.. you are probably right.. but how many potential customers you think that would be willing to pay top dollar for that cue and are afraid to because its ebay? and a not so good looking auction..??
