I want to buy a new table and get rid of my old one now that I'm moving house. I bought my 8ft old one about 4 years ago for around ?1500... Most of the plastic pockets are cracked with holes at the bottom and cloth is worn out. I don't have a clue how much it is worth now or what company made the table or how I would be able to sell it? Any ideas? Is it even worth it?

Anyhoo when it comes to buying a new table I'm a little confused. K-Steels SAMs go for just under ?4,000:

and these Rileys ones go for between ?2349 - ?3189:

and Brunswick Metros for around ?3900:

They seem like good tables but there are some other companies which claim to make BETTER tables for a LOT less. Check these out...WHY ARE THEY SO MUCH CHEAPER?

The Dynamic II on the second one looks awesome! What is the difference between that and the SAMs or Rileys or Brunswicks which are SO much more expensive?

Thanks for any help or advice.

I don't know all the differences in the tables, but I know you can't go wrong with Gold Crowns or Diamonds. These tables were designed with the player in mind. If you are anywhere near GA, you may want to contact Southern Billiards in ATL. They are always getting used tables. I got my used Diamond from Diamond Billiard Products after being used in 3 WPBA Tourneys. I think I paid $3200 including delievery, but then again that was 10 years ago!

Get a Diamond Pro and be happy forever. Period. Happy forever. Get anything else and you'll always wonder and wish.

There what, Five Grand Now? I plan on getting one as soon as the dad does something with the living arrangements.
