I have a opportunity to buy a Chester krick cue, it has 6pts, linen wrap, south west style rings. My searches show that Chester is deceased and they seam to be a fair to decent playing cues. Anybody know what these cues are worth? I'm looking at a great condition 6pts for $400 which I consider cheap, any history or Chester krick info would greatly be appreciated.

Chester Krick was Pat Diviney's mentor. Call Pat and find all your answers.

What's the weight? I'll buy it from you for $500 right now.

Look up CK Cues.

I was going to say if you don't want it I'll buy it, but Cornerman beat me to it.
I have one of his sneaky pete's and it is a great playing cue.

Weight is a 18-19 I'm guessing, by you coming forward like this tells me to snag it up! I'm not a cue collector but I like the looks of it and it seemed cheap for a handmade cue.

chester

Chester made a very nice cue... I've had one of his butterfly sneaky's for sale for awhile... it hits real nice, but I just don't play with it.

I'll be honest, nice to hear people saying they'll buy it... my experience is that the market for many cues is very soft. You can only sell items for what people will pay. You have to decide what it is worth for you... no one else can do that for you.

I remember back in the late 90's and early 2000's, there was this pool cue website called, onthehillcues.net (maybe someone can correct me if I have the spelling of the site wrong), and they were a dealer for Chester Krick cues. I think that website has been gone for a very long time (not sure how long), but they were a cue dealer in IL (maybe Springfied?). I purchased many sneaky pete cues from them over the years, when I was a kid. Does anyone remember that website? It was my favorite site to go to, to look at custom cues. I always wanted a CK cue, because they looked so nice. I really loved the looks of the cues, but they were too expensive for me. I could never afford one. I heard that Chester Krick passed away (sad). He seemed like a great cue maker. Always wanted to try one of his cues out. I bet they are super sweet players.
