Here's an idea that came to me recently and I have no idea why. I don't have children.
Anyway, I want to put it out there for feedback. I'm also wondering if someone has done this already; there seldom are original ideas. And I'm not trying to make a buck. If anyone wants to run with this, feel free!
When I worked in retail while in college, I used a rolling ladder to reach stuff on the top shelf (not that kind of stuff). It had wheels but was also spring loaded. This allowed it to be rolled around but would settle and be stationary/stable when someone (especially my fat self) stepped onto it. Since children usually need a boost to play, I was thinking it would easy to build a small platform that rolls around and settles when they step onto it.

I agree. Its a good idea. I think a lot of kids would have better form if they were only able to. This could give them that opportunity.

Does anyone have the skills to design this and draw up plans? That might help it get into circulation if people like the idea. I think it would be somewhat inexpensive and easy to construct.

That's the the idea ... I think the platform would need four wheels to work. It woudl be easy to push around the table.
