Chinese all-in-one Magic Rack?

I bought one at the Reno bar box championships.
After using it ,if I could of returned it I would of.

I don't have a problem getting a tight rack using a good wooden or aluminum rack.

And I prefer racking the balls with a rack instead of some flimsy piece of plastic.

I don't believe the magic racks rack the balls any tighter then I can do with a regular rack.

You get a different type of rack with templates than you would with a regular rack.

With a regular rack the balls are sitting next to each other. They may be touching but still just sitting there. With a template rack, the balls are trying to lean into the middle a bit, pushing against each other. That is what makes them "explode" during a break more, more energy stored and tighter contact between them.

It's like a group of people on a bus, if you stand upright with no lean, you can pack next to the others, but say the doors open, no-one will fall out. Now take the bus and pack it so that you have people leaning on each other and pushing them to the side a bit. Open the doors to release the energy inside the bus, and you will have people bouncing out of the doors due to the pressure release shoving them outward.

I've tried plastic templates and Renfro's Accurack Solo. I'd choose the Solo every time. The plastic racks could never freeze up the balls in a 10 ball or 8 ball rack at the pool hall with worn balls. The Accurack Solo did. I bent up the plastic one on accident. No problem with the Solo. Only issue I had with the Solo (and it's really my fault) is that the tube cracked and the cap wouldn't stay on so at some point the template fell out and I lost it, but I'll probably order a new one soon.

I can't get my cap to stay on even with a good tube, but Accurack is great itself. Better than the MR for less than perfect balls or tables, and creates a different break also if you are into that sort of thing for a change. Good compromise between the MR loaded feel and the standard rack sometimes loose fee.
