Yesterday we had a 3 hour session that was amazing. It's so rewarding to see "the light go on" when someone really connects to the Game on a deep level.

We practiced and improved the following:

1) Moving to the TOI position using the Feet, so the shift is made with the body and the right hand doesn't get "out of sync" with the rest of the body and connection to the cue.

2) Finishing the horizontal plane while coming down on the shot so the tip can slice the cue ball equally on a line vertical to the center of the TIP.

3) How the pivot and TOI movement works using larger, visual aids to clarify EXACTLY how you connect to the cue ball.

4) How the wrist cocks up to exactly the level of the eye to visually align AND connect your vision to the cue ball BEFORE you get down on the shot. (essential for precision)

5) How the visual shift of the 'Touch of Inside' creates the angle, it's NOT JUST DEFLECTION, it's how the eyes align to the Inside part of the cue ball. The more inside you move (starting with your feet), the more of an angle it creates. This is why the movement is so slight, just a small amount of "shift" creates all your necessary angles when you are aligned to Center or Edge of the object ball.

This gentleman has increased his abilities several hundred percent in one month and I'm having a lot of fun working with him. For me, teaching is more satisfying than playing these days, instead of trying to "Beat" my opponent, I'm using my experience and knowledge of techniques and systems to "Assist" them.....it's a much better Win/Win experience. www.thegameistheteacher.com
