I don't play cards so collusion and conspiracy weren't exactly on my mind when I'd jump into a ring game. Still it doesn't take more than one round of snooker table golf for the reality to present itself. Even regular 9 ball ring games - say three play. The weakest still figures he's got a chance so it's all above board. Then the middle player drops out losers leaving the weakest and the strongest. If the guy is unaware of the speeds involved he can be coaxed into continuing against the strong player with no spot. Just one ploy from the playbooks.
